Center Studio Architecture is a cool 3-1/2 person studio located at Five Points, in the heart of downtown Durham, NC.

Our mixed-use work in downtown includes infill development, custom condos, retail and office spaces, lofts, affordable housing, and adaptive
reuse of historic buildings.

Our residential work includes everything from historic remodels to new, modern dream homes.

We are guided and driven by the needs of our community, and pride ourselves on being present and involved. We are most passionate about great
design, sustainability, good urbanism, healthy and equitable development policies, and economic/cultural diversity.

You are new to the field of architecture. You may not be registered yet, but have some working experience. You¹re very detailed and thorough;
a little obsessive, maybe. You tend to miss the forest because of the trees. You have excellent computer drafting and modeling skills. You understand how to create and assemble construction documents. Whether quiet or outgoing, you get along easily with others and have a good sense of humor. You¹re aware of, and comfortable with, your weaknesses and strengths, and don¹t hesitate to rely on others in a healthy collaborative environment.

Compensation will be fair and typical for this market, your talents and/or your experience. Your benefits will be unconventionally flexible and
generous.
