Bridge the Railroad

Durham’s downtown is halved by the railroad.  Once the very artery of life for this town, the rails now divide.  A bridge is needed to connect Five Points and American Tobacco.  Liberty Bridge, in Greenville, SC is one example of how great feats of design and engineering can surpass mere utility to become works of art and engines of economic development in their own right.
